Don't look at post publishing date. I am begin study English very seriously. This blog tries to help me and other people like me.

How to learn English in English

I think if you have same basic knowledge you must continue study only in English. That's why I don't like any blogs about "How to learn English" on other languages. I try to use only English text books, very rarely I read some Russian teaching books just for better understanding grammar constructions.

My background in English

I learned English in comprehensive school 5 years and in University 2 years, with private tutor 1 month :)
All of my life I try to improve my English by reading English texts, listening English radio, watching TV, visit websites. According to this I think that I achieve now a Lower Intermediate level in English. Maybe it's very optimistic proposition, but so on. To be continued...

Road from 4 to 7

I try to improve my English level from EILTS band 4 (based on preliminary tests, I didn't take official exams yet) to IELTS band 7 in all of the four sections: listening, reading, writting and speaking. I talk about only General Module.
